Club Sea Kayaking Trip 4th June 2023

There will be a club Sea Kayaking trip next Sunday 4th June 2023.

We have 2 leaders (Mark F and Alan T), we’ll post more details of where and when to meet probably on Friday this week. We expect to paddle on Anglesey.

Our sea trips are open to all, but there are some basic requirements; if you’re interested in joining us now or in the future please contact Mark, myself or one of the other sea leaders (Alan A, Neil LG, Fraser K). We will probably want you to come along to Brereton to do some basic skills training and rescue drills if you haven’t sea kayaked before. The club has 2 sea kayaks that can be hired and transported with a bit of notice and the goodwill of others going on the trip.

Both added - I have no idea why Google Docs is so temperamental this is an old document that many people have successfully edited before and is set that anyone with the link can edit. I’ll do some research!

Hi Everyone
The plan for both groups on Sunday is to meet at Starbucks at the A5/A55 services near Bangor, from 09:00 planning to leave at 09:30. Aiming to be at Porth Trecastell at 10:00.

We both intend to paddle from Porth Trecastell heading north up towards the Cwmryn Straits and Silver bay. We’ll factor in some rock hopping and maybe a little surf.
Don’t forget sunscreen, money for the car park, lunch and plenty to drink
