Hi all, here are some details of upcoming sessions for the next few weeks/months

Monday 21st August - Monday night race group

Usual Monday Night session at Bollington. This one will be followed by a Curry at the Baytree Indian down the road after the session, anyone welcome to join.

Monday 4th Sept - Monday night race group

Usual Monday Night session at Bollington. - Andy away on holiday but session will run as per usual.

Sunday 10th Sept - RACE DAY - DUDDON RACE: SOUTH LAKES

Borwick Hall, Carnforth LA6 1JU

The race will take place on the Lancaster Canal starting and finishing from the private canal bank of the Elizabethan Borwick Hall and extending between Tewitfield and Carnforth. This is a fairly wide canal running through open countryside and having a little leisure traffic. Expect a few patches of weed. There is ample free parking and toilet facilities.

Monday 11th Sept - Monday night race group - Last club night on canal

Usual Monday Night session at Bollington. - Andy away on holiday but session will run as per usual. This is also the last Monday night session for the whole club. Additional race sessions to follow.

EXTRA RACE SESSIONS PROVISIONAL DATES

There will potentially be extra Monday night sessions after the club season ends that will be shorter and paddling back in the dark. Provisional dates could be, Mon 25th Sept & Mon 2nd of Oct.
We may well then swap to a Saturday morning session after that for winter training TO BE CONFIRMED

Sunday 15th October - OUT OF REGION RACE DAY - Gailey Staffordshire.

It's a midlands race (so we don't score points) on the canal at Gailey but not too far away and good for experience. I'm not sure yet if anyone is going from the club as it's too early to say but express interest if you want to go.
Croft Ln, Gailey, Penkridge, Stafford ST19 5PY, UK
Worcester & Staffs canal. Can be a 'washy' start as metal sides but suitable for all ages and abilities. Hot and cold refreshments available. Div 1-3 have multiple portages around locks.
