Duddon Hasler race Sept 2023

At the Duddon Hasler race on 10/9/23, MADCC was represented by 6 members.

Between us, we managed a 2nd place, three 3rds, and two 4th places.

The canal venue at Borwick Hall, near Carnforth is great as it has virtually no boat traffic and is clean and deep.

That was the first race of the 2024 Hasler season.

It would be good to see more of the Monday night K-boat paddlers supporting the club and coming to Hasler races. Lifts are usually available for bodies and boats. The more paddlers we have, especially in divs 7-9 the more likely we are to qualify for the national Hasler Finals in September 2024.

There is another benefit to coming racing. I've made friendships with people from other clubs that have lasted 30yrs or more. Racing has got a welcoming social aspect with really friendly rivalries. Come and join it!
