Chris Davison, a former club member who has become an accomplished SUP racer, is going to attempt to complete the Cheshire Ring by SUP in under 24 hours.
As long as the weather forecast is not dreadful, Chris plans to start from Marple top lock on Saturday 30th September.
More details of start time nearer the date of Chris's attempt.
If any MADCC members are keen to cheer Chris when he's out on the course please reply to this post so he can give you some idea of his schedule.
If Chris succeeds in under 24h, he will definitely deserve a Cheshire Ring mug!

A well-deserved Cheshire Ring mug has been sent to Chris in recognition of his achievement.
Completion of the Ring in one go or in stages deserves recognition. Just let MADCC have some proof of your Ring (gps files on Strava, Komoot, or Garmin Connect), and a mug will be sent to you (while mug stocks last...).
