Hare & Hounds Sunday 17th September

Postby Caroline » Tue Sep 12, 2023 3:28 pm

That's this Sunday! Everyone is welcome, including those who haven't done H&H before. You just need to be able to paddle 4 miles in a straightish line! Or if 4 miles is too far there is a 2 mile option to try out instead.

A breezy yet fine day for 11 paddlers this morning. Welcome to Rob Lewis on his first H&H who finished in first place, congratulations! Your handicap will be adjusted accordingly, as will that of Duncan, who finished in second place and Nigel was third. Lovely to see some of the summer Monday evening paddlers taking the first 3 places today. And well done to all the paddlers! Dena has posted some good photos on the club facebook page and full details of places and times can be found in the H&H section of the racing page on the club website.

Here's an update on the points competition, with just 3 events left this year. Your best 4 finishes count so still time for those of you that haven't completed 4 H&H to get them in! Natalie holds the lead on 43 points, Andrew has 40, Daryl 39 and Neil & John K both have 36.

The next H&H is on Sunday 8th October. See you then!
