Sea Kayak trip 7th May

Postby Alan A » Fri Apr 28, 2017 11:38 am

We have a sea trip planned for the 7th. I am thinking bout going to Flamborough Head it has a great cliff landscape and the opportunity to see Gannets and Puffins that nest on the cliffs. The trip is a it weather dependant and I will not make a final decision until the end of next week.

If you would like to come along let me know. Bill has one of the club boats booked but we have the second one and an offer of another boat.

I will post more details here probably next Friday,

Thanks,

Alan

Hello All,

The wind looks too strong to go to the East coast so the plan is to go to Anglesey. Lets meet at the A55/A5 services for 9.30am and travel together from there.

We will probably do the stretch of coast between Treardur bay and Rhoscolyn but lets see what the wind is doing on Sunday.

So far we have AlanA, AlanT, Alan B, John, Neil, Lee, Daryl, Teresa, and Eddie. I have a boat for Eddie which I can take with me. Any questions please drop me a line,

Thanks,

Alan

Hi Lee - yes, it's the services at J11, the A5 junction. General plan is to try and leave as soon as possible after 9:30. so get there a little earlier if you want a coffee.
