Well I hope you find these forums useful and fun.
You do not have to register to use the forums, but it is polite to do so. If you do register, your email address will be displayed on the bottom of articles that you post, which is not a good idea. To prevent this, go into "Profile" (a link at the top of this page) and ensure that the option to display your email address is disabled.
[UPDATE 23/3/05 - I recently changed the forum such that you do have to register to post, because we were getting sex trade posts from Russia... while this may be of interest to some, I didn't think it was appropriate!]
Also do not put email addresses within the text of the posts to avoid "spam robots" picking up the address and adding it to spam email lists.
