Who should I give my rejection letter to for the London Marathon in order to be placed in the hat for the Macc. Harriers places? I run with the C group on Mondays and Thursdays.

Thanks

Dont know who you should give it to, Sophie. You might try Rachel Pleeth or Bob Lynch. All I do know is that the draw normally takes place in the pub (St Dunstans) after the Boxing Day Handicap.

Thanks Pete

I will ask next time I am at running club. I live in Langley so will be able to pop to the pub on Boxing day!

Reply from Rachel when I asked her....

Thanks to Tim Stock for ensuring that Macclesfield Harriers have been given 4 entries for the 2006 Flora London Marathon.
This gives four club members who have been unsuccessful in their
applications for the event, the chance to run. If you have been unfortunate
with your London application and have received a rejection letter but are
still keen to get an entry, please give your rejection letter to Tim Stock.
A draw for the four club places will be made after the Boxing Day Handicap
run. Good luck to those of you who participate in the draw.

[Tim often runs with the
A/B group on a Monday night. Alternatively Tim's address is 27 Fountain St, Macclesfield, SK10 1JN]
