Nowt to do with running, but those amongst us who can read, (or like me just like looking at pictures) might be interested to know that Macc Library is selling off shed-loads of books at 10p each. Upstairs in their meeting rooms, you'll find them.

That's my Xmas presents sorted then (we're careful with our brass in Yorkshire, so we are.)

(Phil - Thought for fell runners handicap, set everyone off at the same time but with a load of books to carry round based on their prowess, watching Stephen going up Shuts with the Oxford English Dictionary....)

Julian,
I did actually think about a horseracing type handicap for a laugh on a summer Wenesday evening,but decided noone had yet invented a rucksack big & strong enough for the likes of Steve & Mark
PS,your admission of Yorkshire origins just added 5 minutes to yr handicap.
