A BARGAIN!

I'll be writing cheques totalling £9000 for local charity from the surplus funds generated by the Macc Half Marathon. We allowed for 1000 High Tech T shirts to cover entries but ended up with ca 200 spare (all large).

We are selling these for £5 which is excellent value for a Ron Hill Tech T shirt (would retail for >£10). All the money goes to charity (East Cheshire Hospice and The Track Appeal) so if you or a pal can use a Tech T shirt you can get them from the club house (see Bob Lynch) or me/ Mandy Cavert as we have a few.

I've been fleeced! I was told they were worth £15 each.

I would have told you £20 knowing what a "mutton" you are for a bargain hoping you might get two. I got one for myself; a couple for my boys and some of my non running pals now have them. Actually £15 is probably about right. I was just confident to quote they were more than £10 and still a bargain.
