With reference to the magazine article, and the two forum threads below...

http://ccgi.macclesfield-harriers.co.uk ... .php?t=198

Do people think the club colours should be changed?

Ruud,
"Every" other sport,I don`t think so.Certainly not satellites,Masters swimmers,cricket, golf, Wheelers,tennis,squash.Hockey I`m not sure but that doesn`t leave much.
You`ll need to ask Barry what the local badminton, bridge & ballroom dancing teams wear, you`re probably the only person capable of keeping up with him long enough to ask!

I did see Ruud Senior in a black Macc vest not so long ago! I personally think something bright yellow or orange would be good - if I do get round to trying one of these superlong races sometime, the mountain rescue helicopter would see me more easily!!

Had a go at Rivington Pike on Saturday - a runner from Bolton asked me if I was in an Aston Villa kit!! I was wearing the glorious grey and maroon however - proof is at:

Managed to drop around 30 on the way down to get 1st V50!

You're right it was Jeff Norman who has also won Rivington several times outright. I was going faster than him with my 14 stone of loveliness and I shimmied past him shortly after the photo was taken. Look fowrad to seeing you on the fells (or the track!) sometime this summer. :)
