I have negotiated a discretionary 10% discount for paided up club members off purchases from Outdoor Gear Shop Camp 4 which is at the bottom of Chestergate ( not on the pedestianised part but at the far end near the traffic lights ) in Macc. The shop is owned by David Golding a keen local climber and mountaineer. The shop is well stocked with leading brands - North Face, Wild Country, Lowe Alpine etc. So if you need a tent or walking boots / shoes, waterproof jacket etc you know where to go. On enquiring after a discount please politely produce your club memebership card.
