to see that the AGM start time was 8.15pm. Why so late? Knowing how long some of the more verbiose will go on, it is very likely that insufficient time will remain to ahem - wet the whistle. 
This was to be the year when I made a surprise appearance at the AGM. I will now have to reconsider.
