Christmas party

Postby Chris Bentley » Fri Aug 10, 2007 2:03 pm

We're looking into holding the Christmas party at the Town House on either Friday 7th December or Friday 14th December - should be an event for all the adult members of the club (a separate children's event is also proposed). The club would do the organisation and pay the booking fee, but not pay for food, drink etc. Does anyone have any views on the date, the venue, or what food or DJ etc should be laid on before we book?

Shouldn`t we be using AZ which has been so successful in the last year?

In reply to Phil. The idea is to go to a town centre venue & have some buffet food & drink in a seperate private room so folk can chat etc... Then later in the evening those who want to rave the night away ( self included ) can go & swing their pants at one of the nearby town centre nightclubs. This event is going to be casual not like the more formal fell runners dinner which will by the way continue every other year, next one in 08.

Now booked for Friday 14th December at the Town House, so put the date in your diaries. No excuses for not coming.

Well done Chris, Will I be able to press my nose against the window when I forget again or will I have to find some baby related excuse?
