Buxton to Macclesfield 4th September - Don't miss the bus!

Dear All,

The Buxton to Macclesfield run is on Sunday 4th September. We are catching the no. 58 bus from Macclesfield bus station at 9:30am (Single ticket costs £2) and should arrive in Buxton for 10am. We are aiming to start the run at 10:15am from the Market Place.

The route will take us through the Pavilion Gardens to Cavendish golf course and the Toboggan Run. From there the route crosses the dismantled railway (by the tunnel) and follows the valley to Errwood Reservoir and Errwood Hall. Beyond that is Shinning Torr and a long descent to Lamaload Reservoir. Finally back to Macclesfield via Rainow and Kerridge Hill.
