Langley 7

Postby Mr Turnip » Sat Nov 05, 2005 9:30 pm

Mr Turnip was gratified to learn that a large and generally well pleased field ran the now well established and respected Langley 7. To think that this was all in the balance not many months ago! Mr Turnip congratulates the people of Langley for their forbearance and kindness in allowing the athletic elite to frolic across their driveways and highways.

In the world of turnips there is not much to laugh about but Mr Turnip has to admit to a bout of turnipidinous amusement to read that our esteemed webmaster apparently doesn't know the identity of our very own Roberto!! (see photos on home page). Shame on you sir, do six laps of the track before morning assembly carrying a life size portrait of Saint Bob.

Oops, of course I know Bob! Must have slipped through the file renaming!!!

I've got the results now, so I think I've named everyone...

LANGLEY 7

Just looked at the results. Big field (258 finishers) for a "low key event. Seems to have become very popular these last 2 years. Must be the scenic views as it's certainly not the weather
