Mr Turnip had to be restrained from leaping up from his desk to charge around in the first real snow of the season.

Do we run in the snow?

I should jolly well say so!

Eat your hearts out townies. This late-afternoon 3 of us left Cockhall lane (Langley) for a run over fields, forest and to the top of Shutter's. The snow was pretty deep and at times hard going but it was great just being out there in conditions like that. But by the time we make Shut the light was beginning to fade and it was bitterly cold and I was rather concerned about Ray; In these conditions he takes on another persona, leaping about and making strange noises like a child would when building a snowman. Fortunately he didn't linger too long there and neither did Steve nor I so we left the hill to freeze over and headed back down to the forrest, following our stud marks in the snow. Took 80 mins in all and well worth the trip. :D
The roads back through Langley were iffy and here just now they're lethal.
I wouldn't run on the pavements in this weather. :(
