10km Race in June: Any Recommendations

A colleague of mine at work is looking to run in a 10km race in June.

Are there any races (preferably flat) that folks would recommend.

I'm not much use as the most recent 10k races that I have run in have been neither flat (e.g. Goyt Valley) or road (Gawsworth) or in June(both).

There is the Warrington Road Runners 10K on Thursday, 24th June at 7.30pm.
I don't know the course, as yet, but I should think it is reasonably flat.

There's one at Stone (S of Stafford) at the end of June as well, which is pretty fast and flat.

The Roberttown 7 at the beginning of June is a good race - the half in Feb is even better - but not flat - or 10k either I suppose.
