Mark Walker completed Sunday's Nottingham Marathon in 3 hours and 57 seconds. The very windy conditions put paid to him completing a sub 3 hour time (he has previously run the London Marathon in under 3 hours). He finished in 28th place out of the 1405 runners who completed the course.

Chris Harbron took part in Sunday’s Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon. This race too was very windy on the day and he went round in 1:29:14. He came 127th out of the 1346 finishers and was the 30th M40 runner.

Please note the results of today’s (Sunday) Gawsworth 10K which involved a number of Harriers.

Conditions were good apart from a strong breeze. Undulating and mixed terrain, roads, canal towpath, stepped railway bridge and fields. 207 runners completed the race.
