Any races on in Jan / Feb?

Hi Running Friends,

Anyone know of any races in the Macc / Cheshire Area in Jan or Feb or something not too far away? Maybe a friendly 10km or something like that, maybe even a half?
Got nothing entered until a half in March now and looking for something for the meantime.

You could have a go at one of the cross country runs. There are several Fell races (look at FRA website).

There's also a "park run" every week end at a number of venues including Bramhall and Stockport. These are all on a measured 5k course on footpaths/tracks. Have a look at www.parkrun.org.uk
Has a lot of good stats you just turn up register and run free to enter.

Thank you very much for the info Barry, much appreciated. I will have a look around and post anything I enter, maybe there's a few other harriers out there that are looking for things to do over the chilly period.
