As reported on the home page a great run by my age group colleague Barry Blyth - well done on a fantastic time which I would have been happy with as an 0/40 never mind o/65 :D

Thanks Colin. I was both pleased (with the outcome) and disappointed, thinking optimistically, that I was on for sub 65 after 3 mls (19m 20s) . I gained places thereafter but slowed along with most others as there was as head on breeze for stretches and the undulating nature of the course took its toll.

Well done Barry!
A minor (but understandable) correction to the report on the Home Page, as my time (93:08) was also a PB (as it was the first time I have ever run a 10mile road race). I'm fairly sure that Aaron Dane (a work colleague of mine & recent recruit to Harriers) was also running his first ever 10mile road race also. All 3 of us from work enjoyed the race and the course.
best wishes, Mike G
