As Keith has mentioned -Congleton Parkrun race director has setup a Magic Mile event to coincide with Marathon Talk's challenge of running a mile as fast as you can]. For those of you who haven't been to Astbury Mere it is as flat and as fast as you could hope for. All proceeds go to Charity.
https://sites.google.com/site/astburymagicmile/Also, on the 21st September there will be a Macclesfield Harriers one mile event as part of the the Track and Field Awards Day, it would be great to see as many Harriers down to run a mile as fast as you can, with results recorded in the Club House (fastest overall, age grade, etc...) and hopefully repeated annually.
