Boxing Day Handicap - details

Postby Neil Gunn » Mon Dec 16, 2013 7:21 pm

The annual club Boxing Day Handicap is on - a good way to work of some of that Christmas pudding!

The event will be organised like last year - you indicate your own finish time and the person closest to their own predicted time wins. The route is the same as previous years but the finish (for safety reasons) will be by the reservoir (like Langley 7). In the event of poor weather/ice an alternative route will be used starting in the same location (this will be decided by 10.00am latest).

No watches, Garmins, MapMyRun etc are allowed.

Registration is from 10.00am on 26th December in the St Dunstan pub. The start is by the church on Cockhall Lane.

Start time is 10.30 for people estimating 30 minutes or longer.
Start time is 10.40 for people estimating less than 30 minutes.

There will be some food provided by the club in the pub afterwards.

We are still short of a couple of helpers for this event so if you can spare time to help it would be appreciated - please contact Neil on neil.gunn@gmail.com to offer your services
Run for your life!
