In my humble opinion the best times relative to age from club members in the London Marathon are without doubt those of Harry Newton, Cynthia Chapman and Dave Jackson.

All three are a fine example of how running can extend your life, make you more beautiful, more intelligent, more fun to be with and generally a smashing type of person. I still await the fruits of my own meagre endeavours but I have detected a marked increase in my attractiveness to the local dog population when out training.

Good on you all, not sure about the beauty though...ofcourse i'm only referring to the men on your list, wouldn't want to offend anyone
