I kept up my record: after 8 or 9 laps I still haven't got lost in the same place twice.
We've all heard it: the bloke in front: 'It's all right lads: I've got it on my GPS......' My fault for following.
Not as bad as some: as Andy and I were walking back down the road to the clubhouse: a good 3/4 mile from the finish in the wrong direction, a chap coming the other way 'can you point me in the right direction for the finish....' Me (helpfully) 'It's the same place as the start, you walked there a couple of hours ago'. No idea where he'd been (and nor had he) but I don't think he broke any records for the last section of the course.
