Sunday run suggestion

The regular Sunday fell-runners may be interested to know that a café which is run by the wife of one of my work colleagues has just won the Derbyshire Food & Drink Awards, Café of the Year award.

It is the Naughty & Nice café in Bakewell. Running groups are welcome. I can recommend that the home-made cakes are amazing! And so are the speciality home-made chocolates!

Potential running routes in and around Bakewell could be one based to the north-west in Monsal Dale and surrounding plateau, one based towards the west on the limestone plateau above Sheldon and Taddington, one in and above Lathkill Dale which is to the south-west and then one eastwards towards Calton pastures and Edensor (Chatsworth).
