Fiendsdale Fell Race - 19/03/05

Huge and spectacular field at this English, and oh yeah nearly forgot Club, championship race. A real connoiseur's race on a magnificent day in a part of Lancashire that is well worth a visit apart from running. What a shame only four Macc. Harriers could be bothered to attend. Yes, of course I was one of them :)

More points for you then Colin!
Trouble is it also clashed with Edale Skyline, Wilmslow Half and a rather nice weekend weather wise in Scotland, so I went up there to catch the last of the snow...

Fiendsdale Fell Race

Hi John,
choices - yes I agree there are many, and I envy your choice of Scotland.
As for Edale - I doubt I would have finished it; as for Wilmslow - I couldn't justify the entry fee (get four fell races for one Wilmslow), and after bonking on the last hill at Fiendsdale, I think I should have chosen to stay in bed!
