Just to bring to more members attention there is a fell race champs locally where for £5 you can get yourself a nice quality reasonably exclusive T shirt or if you are quick enough to beat the fast boys & girls there are prizes.
Details are on the Hayfield races website and I'm sure someone with the technical ability that I clearly lack can put a link to it ( Please John, Webmaster sir ).
The qualification format for races has been changed this year to make it easier to complete & compete. I think I was the only Macc Harrier who qualifed last year due to race clashes etc ( mainly with Mike Nelson's Bob Graham Round weekend ).
