Not far from the site of the now closed Youth Hostel this meeting place is the start of a 2 hour off-road run led by Hazel on a cunning route of discovery passing the newly refurbished Grade II listed building which was originally an 18th century mill, a farm and then a Youth Hostel. It is now advertised as a Boutique Hotel! The route is Gradbach Hill to start with then over to Goldsitch Moss Nature Reserve Flash Bottom Wildstone Rock Summerseats and back down to Gradbach. Moorland, rough grassland, fields, tracks, small amount minor roads and of course inevitable Staffordshire bogs!!!! Waterproof socks could be useful!
