Postby broon69 » Fri Jun 16, 2017 10:58 am

Well after all the training and preparation the day's finally here!

Thanks to everyone who's supporting us get round - there's lots of you and we're really appreciative that people are taking time off work, are away from their families etc. Thanks also to those who can't make it, but who have offered their best wishes.

We're setting off at 18:30 tonight. Our tracking links are below if you want to monitor our progress:

Both trackers look the same and show Carl and a Neil Dawson. Thought they were setting off at 6.30 but no movement as yet! Any clues?

There's a few contenders on this link (you have to click 'Full' to get the full list), but Graham is not one of them.

It looks like a busy BG night!

Well they both set off together and I last saw them at Threkeld for the start of leg 2. Both looked good and were on schedule as they headed out to Clough Head. Just got back after a nightmare drive as most of M60 shut.

Graham now shows on the link and is just behind Carl on Scafell Pike.

Both were successful. Excellent given the sun/heat. I was almost blacking out on Tebay this afternoon.

Great stuff

Well done - must have been nice & warm as you finished.

We lost the tracking signal around Scarfell but reconnected later on to know everything was still on schedule.

Many congratulations to you both. All the months of reccying and training paid off. You both looked strong and given the heat on Saturday it was a great achievement.
