Great stuff Matt: After many years of trying to talk folk into running this with no success, I didn't bother posting this year and you're having a go.

If you wanted to drive as far as Rudyard, for say 18: 30 or so, then we can drive the rest of the way.

Bring a few pennies for post race tea, cakes and beer.

Hi Matt, if we meet you 6:30 by the railway bridge in the middle of Rudyard - so follow the Leek road (A523) out of Macc, and turn R (B5331) about a mile before Leek, follow this road until, well, you get to a railway bridge.

Hope that's OK - We'll try to be early, but if you see someone pedalling down the same road then I'm late.

A grand evening out as always, if a bit 'ot.

Beer tea and cake.

At least two thirds of the harriers there won prizes, well done.

And possibly one of the few races where the two winners were mother and son.
