Sunday run 9th July, 9.30 am - Glossop
Posted: Thu Jul 06, 2017 7:43 pmThe forecast looks reasonable, the moors beckon so it's off to Bleaklow on Sunday. A steady run up Yellow Slacks, across to the 'kissing stones' and Bleaklow Head before heading down the Pennine Way towards Crowden, with a nifty left turn back towards Glossop via Torside Castle and back through the quarries under Cock Hill. It'll be a steady run 'cos I'm leading.
Meet and park in the "factory car park". Directions: From Glossop's High Street turn left along Manor Park Road into Old Glossop. Turn right along Shepley Street, passing the factory to the bus turning circle and park there - but not actually in the turning circle!
Afterwards in the famous greasy cafe in the town centre.
