Macclesfield Harriers

Many, many thanks to all who helped yesterday. Simon Bailey won in 52.15 and as ever, looked composed throughout. We had some difficulties and worries as the runners came in, with Janet (timing and results Meister) being taken ill, and Sam having to take her hospital, but the results were completed and will be circulated shortly. This also meant that the award presentation at the end fell by the wayside. Main thing, is that Janet seems to be OK and no-one came to any harm on the day....some very complementary reports from competitors....thanks.

I am sure I can speak for Sam in saying thanks to all who helped....without volunteers, there'd be no race.
