Wednesday Summer Series after Forest 5
Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2017 3:39 pm6 races down with just 2 to go; Cracken Edge Aug 2 and Eccles Pike Aug 9th. Best 5 races to count.
Mark Messenger is 1st overall with Kathleen O'Donnel 1st lady and currently 2nd overall. Barry Blyth and Stewart Waudby are 2nd and 3rd men but likely to be overtaken as others complete 5 races. Allen Bunyan, Robbie Peal and Dan Croft are in with a chance of pipping Mark if they complete the last 2 races.
Andrea Frost and Julie Smith are 2nd and 3rd ladies respectively.
The Forest 5 had the biggest turnout of harriers with 49 competing along with Marshalls, helpers and of course race organisers Emma and Shaun.
To date 93 runners have turned out in at least 1 race.
