It's too close to call especially for the ladies.

All 3 ran well at the weekend. Gillian Lindsey and Andrea Frost took 1st LV40 and LV50 places with Rachael Lawrance close behind (happy birthday for this Saturday Rachael).

Matt Lewis was 1st Harrier back just ahead of Neil Clarke.12 harriers in all.

Just 3 races (all long) to go.

Latest table attached. Let me know if you spot errors.

Just depressing myself by looking at past results on the Stanage. You know when you have had a good race but the "trend" from early 50's is downhill. On the positive side I can still do my laces; it's undoing them that's a problem and I'm still "out there".

You haven't peaked yet Barry.
Look at this guy; doing 8000 m peaks at age 78

Thanks Guys. My "over the hill" mood has lifted. Did the last English champs race (Great Whernside) yesterday. Had a terrific battle with 2 fellow V70's. It's only a 6.5k with 475m of climb. An out and back to the trig pt where all 3 of us were in order in touching distance; Fantastic. Battled all the way down with Dave Tate finishing just ahead of me and Mick Corcoran just behind.

Good to hear it Barry, its was a tough race but always good to finish with your own competition..
