Sunday Run 15th October 2017

Postby david tucker » Fri Oct 13, 2017 12:32 pm

9.30 Clarence Mill, Clarence Road, Bollington, SK10 5JZ.

After all the excitement of The Tuff Udder obstacle race last weekend, this Sunday's run returns to normality with a 2 hour off-road run around the dales and valleys of Bollington. Not to be missed, probably not as much mud as last weekend but not far off, just what you need to set you up for the coming week.

Meet in front of the mill at 9.30. Park behind the mill in the multi-story car park. Do not block the cafe parking spaces in front of the mill. Afterwards tea & cakes in the mill cafe.

Clarence Mill is a five storey former cotton spinning mill in Bollington, Cheshire, in England. It was built between 1834 and 1877 for the Swindells Family of Bollington. Clarence Mill was built alongside the Macclesfield Canal which opened in 1831. Wikipedia

If convenient meet at Tucker's for a 9.10 departure. Otherwise see you at Clarence Mill at 9.30.

We have some well good routes planned and upcoming for future Sundays. There's a Kinder trip to explore some rocky routes, a Castleton run to include a private caving taster session and a daring knife edge arête and anything else we can come up with! If you are harbouring a secret plot for a Sunday do come forward.
