As people request times and Phil allocates them they are added to the website list ...all start times now up to date.

Neil can you add Jimmy Sheldon - I'd put him in the 9:40 or 9:45 group.

Thanks
Graham

Please note that there has been an error in the calculation of start times. Phil is most apologetic!

The revised list will be on the website on Wednesday afternoon after a recalculation and quality control checks.

Revised start times now available on the club website. Once again Phil sends his apologies for the minor error (we all forgive him especially as it looks like a nasty day for getting the Sweetie Tree prepared!)!

Folks,
The current forecast is for snow showers over the next 3 days then proper snow for Sunday.
This may mean "Plan B" for Sunday.
Assuming we can get as far as the pub Plan B would be to meet a little later and run a shorter course based around Macc Forest.
That would avoid the higher, more exposed stuff and avoid leaving the pub with food for 80 folk and no customers.
Fingers crossed .
Decision on whether to go to plan B will taken on Saturday before 6PM and posted here, website & Facebook with a further update Sunday morning at 8.00 AM depending on road conditions

I've just sent an e mail to those I know that live in Tytherington, Bollington and Victoria rd area to see what plans they have made re car sharing. Could get a sensible car load from the 9.38 group plus Andrea and Mark S.

I don't have use of my car on Sunday but was planning to cycle up to Langley. Should be fun. If needed I could probably get my car but it is awful in snow which is partly why I planned to cycle. Just let me know what plans develop and I'll see what I can do. Cheers Barry.

Cheers Barry - a lift would be great, Dan is going to follow on a bit later but if more people need a lift he's happy to come at the same time, so would have space for 2 more. What time are you planning on leaving?

Suggest leaving my house at 8.45. Mark S will park at mine. Can pick you up Andrea. Room for 1 more.

Regrettably I have decided to postpone the Handicap because of the weather.
With conditions already tough and a forecast of heavy snowfall all morning tomorrow it looks unlikely we would be able to reach St Dunstans.
Even if we could get there it would be foolhardy to set 70+ runners off round that course with no safety cover.
As road conditions are likely to be very difficult we are not organising anything for tomorrow.Guess groups will arrange things among themselves
I need to liaise with fell, road and XC calendars to find a date to run in the New Year.
