There was a good turnout of Harriers for the second race in the 'winter' fell series - 20 guys and 17 gals (including Barry 'Beekeeper' Blyth and his swarm of bees amongst them). The costume didn't slow him down too much as he picked up the V70 prize. Well done too to Andrea Frost and Ann-Marie Jones who picked up the V50 and V60 prizes respectively. And along with Steph Wood picked up the ladies team prize. Full results here: http://bramhallrunners.co.uk/bowstones-nye-fell-race/

Matt Lewis is leading after 2 races (only 3 Harriers have completed both races so far). Results are attached.

Next up in the series is the John o' Goats Charity orienteering event this Saturday (6th) in Lyme Park. Details here: https://www.mdoc.org.uk/events/john-o-g ... 6-jan-2018. For results to count Harriers need to be doing the long course - 12 km.

The following races make up the series:

Jan 14* Marsden to Edale (L) http://www.marsdentoedale.co.uk/details.htm
Jan 20* The Rucksack Club Kinder Trial (O) http://www.t42.org.uk/hayfield/
Jan 21st Lambs Longer Leg (S) http://www.t42.org.uk/hayfield/
Feb 4* Long Mynd Valleys (M) https://www.sientries.co.uk/event.php?e ... nt_id=4074
Feb 10 Lyme Park park run (S)
Feb 18 Fell handicap (L)

It's 4 races to count - one in each category

Cheers
Graham
