There is an event on at Edale Sunday and they are parking in our overflow car park so a plan. We will still meet at Edale station car park at 9.30 but if parking is impossible we will drive back to Mam Nick and park & run from the NT car park there. Thanks for spotting that Ange!
A Sunday trip along the southern edges of Kinder to recce the first part of the Edale Skyline race route. Starting at Edale station the route ascends Kinder from Grindsbrook Meadow to Ringing Roger then heads westwards to the top of Grindsbrook. At the path junction by Edale cross the flagstones start that lead to Chapel Gate and onwards to Mam Tor. The point where we start the run back to Edale will be determined by how quick we are travelling and weather conditions but we will be out for 2 hours or more. It could be a bit wintery so bring good gear.

The race is on March 11th and is being run anticlockwise this year, so left when you get to Ringing Roger!

There is an open parking area by the station car park that's free otherwise park in the adjacent station car park for a 9.30 start. If convenient meet at Tucker's to car share - 8.50 departure from Tucker's.
