FELL HANDICAP; How did you do?
Posted: Tue Feb 20, 2018 8:50 pmForecast times were calculated based on actual times achieved from the Fell champs races during 2017. The more races then the better the prediction. Didn't have data for everyone. 14 runners were within 6 mins of their forecast time. A number were slower down to route "deviations" or were part of a group or were walking their dogs. The star performer was Neil Pettie who was 11 mins quicker followed by Steve Swallow and Graham Brown both ca 7mins quicker; Mark Stanbridge 6 1/2 and Martin Rands 5 1/2. Andrea Frost and I ran spot on to our forecasts we'd both done a lot of races hence better forecast. See attached
