Saucony Peregrine anyone?

Postby bollygill » Tue Apr 17, 2018 11:26 am

I only have mudclaws but want something more comfortable for Slovenia 42km rocky trails in June, and potentially also Old County Tops. Was thinking Roclite for both but lady in Running Bear suggested Saucony Peregrine[which she ran Yorkshire 3 Peaks in]. Certainly sounds good for rocky trails. Not sure about lack of rock plate [in newest model] for sharp pointy rocks.

Has anyone got these?
Cheers

I have used Saucony Peregrine for many years as a trail/easy fell training shoe and I find them very comfortable and supportive.
May not be as easy to lace up tightly as a 'slimmer fitting' inov (mudclaw) would be? Bearing in mind I have not done the distance you are going to do.
Good luck. Hopefully see you Saturday.
