LAKELAND GRAND PRIX SERIES

Results from the Teenager with Altitude and the Anniversary Waltz are now available ( http://anniversarywaltz.co.uk/ ). A great (record for the Lakes) turnout of harriers with 30 racing and lots more supporting.

In the TWA 7 harriers finshed in a field of 239. Simon Harding was first Harrier back in 15th place overall in a time of 3hrs 20. Excellent given his “young family” distractions. Dan Croft suffering with a virus did well to finish.

In the AW 23 harrier finished in a field of 493. Robbie Peal was 1st back in 22nd place (1st U23?) with Marc Burley, Tom Whittington and Matt Lewis all in the top 100. Anne-Marie Jones was 1st lady harrier and also 1st LV60 overall. If there was a team prize for LV50’s Macc would surely have won it. Well done all. Next race the Fairfield Horseshoe. Have attached the updated table which shoes Tom leading for the men and Anne-Marie just ahead of Gillian Lindsay. Let me know of any errors.
