I've been watching the weather forecast for the Lakes for the weekend, it seems to have improved so I'm thinking of going up on Saturday to reccie Grisedale horseshoe. 10 and a bit miles, steep climbs, lots of ridges, a stonking grassy descent and a bit of scree shute (if you can find it): what's not to like?
