Yes, I can give you both a lift if there's just four of us going. It's not a big car, so four with kit is plenty. Will pick Matt up from Coare St first. Barry, do you live far from Beech Lane? Kathleen, could meet you at the bottom of Buxton Road, near Kwik Fit maybe?

I've never been to Meerbrook, so any helpful tips about suitable parking would be welcome. Mow Cop Runners website suggests parking at the reservoir and then taking a 15 minute stroll to the village hall!!

There are roadworks on the way into Rushton Spencer (might be gone by the weekend, might not...) so you might be advised to allow a bit of extra time.

Assuming you drive over Gun Hill, you can park either on the road on the right (after the village hall and before the Lazy Trout) which is free, or the Tittesworth visitor car park which is not free.

Please don't park outside the pub as it tends to annoy the locals !
