This weeks run is from the Teggs Nose top car park - off Buxton Old Rd (where the cafe is). Remember the right kit. 7PM start.

I'm happy to lead a route. I was thinking an out and back to Cat and Fiddle via the Forest and Forest Chapel or if time allows as far as Shining Tor and back via the Handicap route.

Drinks in The Wharf on Brook Street in Macc afterwards.

Cheers
Graham

Sounds great! Thanks Graham - pls can I ask if I can carashare with anyone? I live just above cottage lane before Buxton road forks up to teggs. I’m a crap driver and worried about the ice on way up and back down. I could stand where the road forks at 6.50 if anyone could pick me up? Thanks very much!

Kathleen I'm planning to jog up from town!

You might be quicker doing the same.

Hi all its seems that Buxton Old road is closed due to snow and ice, so the advice is to avoid it.

So I suggest we meet at The Wharf and run from there.

We can either head up Buxton Road / Buxton Old Road on foot or out along the canal I've got a route which will take us to Teggs and back across the golf course.

Cheers
Graham

Take care everyone this evening, I ran at lunchtime and only went as high as Kerridge Ridge - pretty misty so visibility with headtorches may not be great this eve. But enjoy the snow :D
