Manchester 10k (19th May 2019) -for the Rossendale Trust
Posted: Thu Apr 11, 2019 8:56 amI am running the Great Manchester 10k run on Sunday 19th May for The Rossendale Trust and would welcome your support.
The Rossendale Trust are great local charity who I know many Macc Harriers support in a variety of ways.
This year all monies raised will support thier 'Worktaste' programme, it works with local Macclesfield employers arranging work placements for the residents of the Rossendale Trust. The placements allow the residents to feel the satisfaction of having a job with responsibilities, working with others and being treated as a valued member of a team. That's what we experience every day when we come to work (or used to if you are lucky enough to be retired) so why not give others a chance to experience a taste of work through 'Worktaste'.
