Meet at 09.30 a.m. at the car park on Altrincham Road in Styal Village. OS Map 268 GR 846 835

A one and a half hour run down the right bank of the Bollin through the woods to Altrincham Road. 800 metres on the road and then back into the woods and up the left bank of the Bollin.

Featuring the great redwood trees, the Eskdale erratic, the ancient sunken path and, that perennial favourite, Worms Hill Quarry showing the fault line between the Wilmslow Sandstone rock bed and the Helsby Sandstone rock bed!
