High Fell Series - Update

The scores after Round 2.
Kathleen leads the ladies’ slate with 37 points followed by Andrea on 32. Simon leads the men’s slate on a perfect 40, followed by Matt on 34.
With only 2 races done and 4 more to follow there is plenty of opportunity to shake things up.

For the HFS we have adopted a simple Bofra style scoring to spice it up a little. First Macc gets 20 points, second gets 17 and third 15 etc. This means it is more about where you place against fellow club members than against the rest of the field. It also means that people who tend to not lead the pack can score well in races where the racing snakes are not in attendance.

In the unlikely event of two leaders with the top score we will go with head to head, total series score from all races, or if all else fails a leadership debate and hustings followed by an undemocratic vote on behalf of the whole nation.
Remember, 3 races to count… next race Tal y Fan in North Wales on 13th July 2pm. Don’t forget your Hunters for the Rowen Carnival welly throwing contest.
