Last night's Hope Wakes race was the 5th of 8 races with just 5 to count. The men's outcome looks to be sorted Billy Hicks leading from Chris Bentley and Matt Lewis all having completed 5 races. Kathleen O'Donnell with 5 races completed leads the ladies from Alannah Birtwistle who has a race in hand. Hannah Green is scoring well but needs to do the last 3 races.

I've attached the latest Fell Champs table sorted by Summer Series ranking.

Wrt to last night's race 23 harriers turned out. Highlights in this high quality field were Billy Hicks 7th man; Matt Lewis 1st V50; Kathleen 2nd LV40 and "no respect" Den Massett passing me on the finishing straight. I was pleased my knee held out.

Next Fell Champs race is Warslow July 6th
