British fell relays: Saturday 19 October 2019

This year’s British Fell Relays are taking place in Derwent Valley on Saturday 19 October, and we want to get this date in people's diaries.

The venue in Bamford is less than an hour's drive away from Macclesfield, and we will arrange carshare.

We plan to be ambitious and get as many teams in as possible. Final team numbers and categories will be dependent on interest, and on whether the limit on the number of teams is reached. For example, it might be that we submit 6 teams and only 5 are accepted due to over-demand.

The format is the same as previous years: teams of 6 running over 4 legs; a mix of solo runners and pairs.

Hopefully we can arrange some runs in the area to familiarise! We are thinking of having a curry night or some sort of celebration in the evening so we can all meet up after the event.

The Fell Captains Alannah and Dennis are managing the teams this year, assisted by Matt Lewis. Please let us know if you are interested.
